tekFinder started in 2018 on a sofa in Bellevue Hill, Sydney. Nick Shepherd, our founder, began his recruitment career in the UK before moving to Australia in 2011. Seeing how transactional and metric-driven recruitment could be, Nick was compelled to do things differently - to build a recruitment business that’s less corporate, less “salesy,” and more personal.
Nick set out to create a team-focused culture: a place where candidates and clients feel comfortable and valued throughout the hiring process.
