Partnering with agency
If you’re company that’s looking to hire talent and you want to partner with a recruiter, rather than just google various agencies in your areas, do some research on the job ads you see online.
This can give you a good indication of how a particular agency work.
If you’re seeing a ton of buzzwords like “dynamic”, “amazing” or that they’re looking for “rockstars”, “ninjas” or similar without giving you any tangible evidence of what the job actually entails, don’t bother.
The right agencies for you will include information in their ads on the project itself, info on why they’re hiring, the salary range; basically info that re-assures you that its; a) a real job and b) that agency have a proper partnership with the business they’re hiring for.
This can also apply to candidates who are starting their job search and want help from a recruiter.
Remember; if a recruiter doesn’t know anything about the job or the company when you call them, it usually means the company doesn’t know anything about that recruiter either.
