Remote working
I have a question for CTOs / Tech leads / Product Owners;
How are you mentoring mid level devs / junior software developers / junior members of your teams at the moment, if you’re all 100% remote?
We’re hiring for clients at the moment who want their developers in the office for 2-3 days a week, primarily because their legacy code base/monolithic app needs huge amounts of work, but they want to improve communication, documentation & team playing within the group and feel that can only really be done properly with everyone in the same room.
Ultimately, they want their end product for their customers to be as good as it can be and feel the best way to do this, is to have the best possible culture internally and that comes from getting together..
Keen to hear tech / product teams thoughts on this. Whats working for you all at the moment?
